Ethnic Technologies Continues to Raise the Bar

In 2009, Ethnic Technologies, LLC, a direct marketing business solutions provider, released E-Tech Version 7.2, a major step forward in ethnic identification software. E-Tech now achieves an industry leading 96% match rate when applied to most residential/consumer lists. E-Tech 7.2 includes an improved version of Ethnic Technologies’ Enhanced Neighborhood Analytics (ENA) product, which corrects known discrepancies in census data and then applies the corrections at a more granular level with greater specificity. Ethnic Technologies, LLC also released and improved their product that works in conjunction with E-Tech Version 7.2. The product "Assimilation Index" is for the Hispanic and Asian ethnicities of Chinese, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Laotian, Thai, Vietnamese, Philippines, Indian and Pakistani populations, breaking down into 4 separate indexes the degree of assimilation of each individual. Ethnicity, language preference, income, socioeconomic status, dwelling unit size and geographic locators are used as variables, along with expert system rules, to match a Hispanic or Asian individual with one of the assimilation index codes. E-Tech can identify within each level of assimilation, the individuals spending habits, socioeconomic status, communication preference and how the individuals other lifestyle characteristics differ. Ethnic Technologies, LLC also improved their Gender enhancement product. The NEW G-Tech 3.0 classifies the first names on your file by their proper gender. In 2010, Ethnic Technologies’ Product Roadmap calls again to raise the bar for match rates to 98%, improving accuracy of matched data from "at least 95%" to "over 95%", and extending the new products such as Assimilation Indexes to apply to other applicable ethnicities. Ethnic Technologies is striving to improve their E-Tech Canada product and is researching how to differentiate country of origin from an individual’s ethnicity. With developments such as advanced name parsing in E-Tech’s future they are sure to secure their spot at the top of the multicultural business solutions industry.
