Position Summary:

REQUIREMENTS:

·       BA/BS degree.

·       5-7 years agency/marketing services-related experience which includes 2+ years Hispanic marketing experience.

A BA/BS in business administration, public administration, education, fund development, human resources administration, finance or a related field is required. A MA/MS/JD or other applicable advance degree is also preferred.  Additionally, s/he will have a track record that demonstrates proven ability leadership capabilities, evidence of a thorough knowledge of political environment on the local, state, national, and international level. Flexibility, experience in working in a team environment, excellent verbal communications and writing skills are imperative.  The candidate must also be proficient and knowledgeable of current computer and information systems and software applicable to finance and major organizational operations.  The candidate must be analytical with the ability to manage and track multiple projects with self-direction and flexibility.  S/he must be a highly ethical person with a strong commitment to the organization.

Lead the top-level creation, programming, implementation and management of content initiatives for History.com and Biography.com.  Directly support the Sr. Director in the daily management and operation of the department.  Work with marketing, ad sales, and programming departments to implement sweepstakes, exhibits, mini-sites and other custom content.  Liaise with programmers at both networks to fulfill programming and promotional requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Bachelor's Degree in relevant area.

5+ years working in interactive media. Content development experience, budget creation experience, HTML, knowledge of Web design.

Understanding of content management systems, particularly Interwoven.  

 

Demonstrated skills in content development and management of projects and products. Experience in creative idea generation and communication of ideas to peers and management. Experience with project management techniques and with developing and managing budgets
